Choose what you want to see and which optional routines to enable. You stay in control of setup and permissions.

    Create your vehicle profile

    Select a make and model, add a name if you like, and choose a photo. Car Wdigets can lift the vehicle subject from its background for your profile.

    Build your CarPlay screen

    Choose the widgets you want, such as your car, weather, date and time, parking, text, flags, a plate, or music. Arrange the screen to surface the details that matter to you.

    Add optional Shortcuts

    Choose the sound you want for a CarPlay connection, disconnect, or arrival home. If you want automatic parking, create its CarPlay disconnect automation yourself and grant the required location access.

    Use it when connected

    Connect to a supported CarPlay system to use the features available on your iPhone and vehicle. Review detailed information or change settings only when safely parked.

Choose your car’s make and model, add a name or date, and bring in a photo. The app can lift the vehicle from its background to create a clean profile image.

Choose from car and brand details, date and time, weather, parking, text, flags, license plates, now playing, and lyrics widgets. Arrange the information you want to see at a glance.

Weather for the route ahead

Add a weather widget to your CarPlay layout for a quick look at current conditions. Weather availability and location detail depend on your permission, network, region, and Apple Weather services.

Sounds for familiar moments

Pick a sound for connecting CarPlay, disconnecting, or arriving home. Preview the library or import an audio clip up to 10 seconds, then configure your own Shortcuts automation.

Triggers and automatic operation depend on iOS and your device.

Remember your latest parking place

Save a location, time, note, and optional photos, then open directions to your parked car. Automatic saving after CarPlay disconnect requires a Shortcuts automation you create and Always Location access.

Keeps the latest record; it does not track a moving car.

Music and timed lyrics

Connect Apple Music to see current playback details and use device-supported controls. When lyrics can be matched and displayed, follow along in CarPlay or on the Lock Screen.

Lyrics depend on matching, rights, and platform support.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

Clear about what stays on your device.

Most personal setup data stays in the app on your iPhone. When a feature needs another service, the request depends on what you choose to use.

Stored on your device

Vehicle profiles, widget and sound settings, and saved parking records are stored locally in the app.

Location only for relevant features

Weather, address lookup, directions, and a parking action may use location. Apple services may receive the location needed for the request.

Online lyrics are a separate request

If a local lyric match is unavailable, an online lookup may send track details to LRCLIB. The full policy describes the data involved and the current review status.

Requirements and feature availability depend on your device, vehicle, permissions, and the services you use.

What do I need for CarPlay widgets?

CarPlay widgets require iOS 26 or later and a vehicle configured for CarPlay widgets in iPhone Settings. Availability also depends on the vehicle and region.

Does Car Wdigets track my car while I drive?

No. Parking saves a location record; it is not live vehicle tracking. Automatic parking requires a CarPlay disconnect automation that you create in Shortcuts and the required location permission.

Will sounds and parking routines start automatically?

Only after you configure the relevant personal automation in Shortcuts. iOS may show confirmation or limit when an automation runs, depending on the trigger and system version.

Are music lyrics always available?

No. Lyrics depend on a match, content rights, and platform support. When an online lookup is needed, track details may be sent to LRCLIB; see the Privacy Policy for details.
